HCC PERFORMANCE CLUTCH (MACHINED STEEL)

Description
At HCC Clubstore we like to be close to our customers and always listen carefully to their needs.
That's why we took the initiative to develop this high-performance slip clutch.
Based on an original idea from a Camino hobbyist from the French-speaking part of our country, who has been absent from the scene for some time.
With tips from a number of well-known and very active Camino enthusiasts, we further developed the original idea.
We combined the tips with our own insights to arrive at the current result.
Thus we solved THE main problem of predecessors of this type of clutch by adding a "swing mechanism" so that the "stress" on the wire ends on which the pressure springs are mounted is reduced to a minimum.
Furthermore, we had the wire ends produced from material with a higher tensile strength, increased the diameter slightly, and equipped the end pieces with a handy hex-socket head (inbus-kopje) which simplifies mounting and adjusting the clutch.
The shafts on which the slip-clutch shoes are mounted have been moved slightly so that the clutch shoes engage more evenly.
We have also matched the threading for disassembling the clutch to the thread of an original Honda Camino clutch so that You do not need to purchase unnecessary or extra tools to disassemble the HCC PERFORMANCE CLUTCH.
The clutch can therefore be easily disassembled with the original Honda clutch puller or the 1:1 replica clutch puller as illustratively shown in the photos of this product. Don't have a clutch puller yet? Click HERE to discover our 1:1 replica puller.
Notes:
- Clutch base plate, small cylinders, half-moons manufactured from high-alloy machine steel
- Clutch shoes manufactured from what is colloquially called "aircraft aluminium" for higher wear resistance.
- Friction lining on the clutch shoes is equivalent to the known Feredo quality.
- Clutch is supplied with a set of yellow and blue Polini pressure springs.
Attention: If the clutch is newly installed, it is possible that you will smell a distinctive sharp odor during the first kilometers. Once the clutch has settled to the shape of the clutch housing, that smell will disappear automatically.
