RUN-IN PASTE / VALVE SEAT PASTE (COARSE & FINE)

Set of 2 run-in pastes "the old-fashioned way" in grease:

- 1 paste with coarse grain

- 1 paste with fine grain

The advantage of conditioning in grease is that the paste adheres better during use. As a result it retains its effectiveness (during lapping of cylinder heads, etc. on a surface plate) and also allows easy cleaning (solvent or petrol) without leaving abrasive grains behind (valves).

USE:

Coarse paste:

Flattening surfaces on a surface plate or thick glass plate, first step in lapping valves, polishing inlet ports, rockers, …

Fine paste:

Second step in lapping valves, lapping the float needle in its seat in carburettors, polishing delicate mechanical parts, …
