Cylinder base gasket 1,00 mm 65cc & 70 cc - reinforced

Cylinder base gasket, manufactured from reinforced graphite gasket sheet with a thickness of 1,00 mm (the color of the paper used may differ from the photo)

Application position: sealing between the engine block and the cylinder base. This base gasket is an in-house design and is tailored to the aluminium 65cc and 70cc cylinders that generally have slightly larger transfer ports. The base gasket is designed so that the transfer ports of the cylinder remain fully open while still leaving enough gasket material, thereby significantly extending service life compared to a standard 65cc base gasket. This base gasket can be used to prevent a piston from striking the cylinder head and/or to slightly advance the timing.

TIP: we recommend this reinforced graphite base gasket with this sheet thickness when installing an Athena 70cc cilinderkit. & Alu/Chroom 65cc
