Rebuild Kit Extra Large - Rear Transmission

Is your rear transmission losing oil? Is the idle jerky? Then your rear transmission needs a thorough overhaul. This kit contains, in addition to all the basic parts, the small needle bearings. Although some sometimes claim these bearings do not need replacing because they supposedly do not wear! Admittedly, removing the old needle bearings requires some patience but it is certainly worth doing. Needle bearings are generally the most delicate bearings and are the most prone to wear.

This kit also contains the oil seals and O-rings to overhaul the variator pulley with holes. 

TIP: After overhauling, fill the rear transmission with a maximum of 75 ml gearbox oil, therefore preferably measure the oil in a measuring jug, or place your rear transmission upright in your wheel and fill oil until the oil just runs out of the fill hole. Any oil you add beyond that will leave the transmission during riding via the overflow at the back of your transmission and end up on your wheel and tyre, resulting in slippery tyres! You do not want that to happen, so measure carefully!
