M6 thread repair kit

Damaged threads can be very inconvenient, especially aluminium parts such as crankcase halves and brake plates are more prone to it after frequent use.

By now most Camino's have comfortably passed the blessed age of 30 years and thread damage has occurred here and there.

With this kit you restore the thread to its original diameter and pitch. Correctly installed inserts are even stronger than the original thread.

This kit contains:

• A metal drill bit of the correct diameter.
• A specific thread tap.
• An installation tool.
• A break-off tool to secure the insert after installation.
• Fifteen stainless M6 x 1.0 inserts. (refills available per 25 pieces)
