M8 Thread Repair Kit

Damaged thread can be very troublesome; aluminium parts such as crankcase halves and brake plates are more prone to it after frequent use.

By now most Camino's have long since passed the venerable age of 30 years and here and there some threads have failed.

With this kit you restore the thread to its original diameter and pitch. Correctly installed inserts are even stronger than the original thread.

This kit contains:

• A metal drill of the correct diameter.
• A specific thread tap.
• An installation tool.
• A break-off tool to secure the insert after installation.
• Fifteen stainless M8 x 1.25 inserts. (refills available in packs of 25)
